BEE BRAN SHARES NEW SINGLE “OH MOTHER”

London newcomer Bee Bran shares her striking new single “Oh Mother,” a synth-drenched track that gradually builds around her singular, expressive voice. Both melancholic and hopeful, the song unfolds through rich, colourful layers that give space to Bee’s powerful vocal performance.

Speaking about the track, Bee explains: “‘Oh Mother’ is about leaving home and feeling confused about where home is now meant to be. It captures the nostalgia of being a child, and reflects what it’s like to miss feeling protected.”

The release follows recent single “To Feel Is To Be,” which will also appear on Bee’s forthcoming EP, due later this spring. Raised in a household filled with music, Bee began writing songs as a child before going on to study at The BRIT School and Trinity Laban.

Inspired by artists including Lorde, Fiona Apple, Saya Gray, Kate Bush and Sarah Kinsley, the 20-year-old recently headlined a sold-out show at SJQ in London, with another date set to be announced soon.
