DAYLA BREAKS SIX-YEAR HIATUS WITH DEFIANT NEW SINGLE “TV - 90’S KID'"

Paris-born, London-based artist Dayla returns with TV - 90s kid, a euphoric art-pop single about millennials reckoning with the promises and pressures of adulthood. Dreamlike production and weightless vocals lend the track a nostalgic warmth, while its message turns disillusionment into a call to reclaim ambition.

“TV - 90s kid is an anthemic ode to millennials. It’s made for anyone who feels let down by what they were promised growing up—a ‘hopecore’ sonic sanctuary that transforms modern disillusionment into a rallying cry to reclaim your dreams.”

Born and raised in Paris, Dayla moved to London in the early 2010s. Her early ensemble performances took her to venues including Union Chapel, the Barbican and Southbank Centre, sharing stages with Imogen Heap and Elena Tonra of Daughter.

With TV - 90s kid, Dayla returns to songwriting that moves between everyday reality and imagined worlds, marking a new chapter in her work.
