DUTCH MUSTARD RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘HEAR ME OUT’
North London artist and producer Sarah-Jayne Riedel, known as Dutch Mustard, releases new single ‘Hear Me Out’ via DM Records.
Opening with gritty guitar tremolo and a driving beat, ‘Hear Me Out’ expands Dutch Mustard’s distinctive world of 90s alt-rock, dream-pop and shoegaze. Hazy textures gather around Riedel’s weightless vocals as the track moves from stripped-back reflection into a rush of emotion, before settling into intimate calm.
“This song is one of those moments where it just falls out of the sky. Lyrically, it’s about wanting to be seen and heard by a loved one. We should all be heard in a relationship of any kind, but sometimes being heard can save it. This is a song for those who deserve to be heard.”
