LOIS UNVEILS NEW VISION WITH ‘LOVE YOU BETTER’

Carving out her place in the Northern music scene, Lois has emerged as a standout voice among the UK’s next generation of pop artists. Known for her raw, emotionally rich storytelling, the Morecambe-born, Leeds-based singer-songwriter continues to push forward with her latest single, LOVE YOU BETTER.

LOVE YOU BETTER came from wishing I had the ability to love people better than I was capable of,” Lois shares. “Grief and trauma have shaped the way I connect with others, and the song reflects that — the wish to heal with love, and the painful truth that sometimes love just isn’t enough.”

Blending ‘80s alt-pop nostalgia with a modern touch, Lois delivers a heartfelt exploration of past relationships. What begins as a sparse piano ballad gradually blooms into a shimmering mix of soaring vocals and winding melodies — echoing the emotional grandeur of Kate Bush.

Raised in the coastal town of Morecambe, Lois’ journey into music was anything but conventional. With few creative outlets in her hometown, she moved to Liverpool at 16 to study at LIPA. There, and later at Leeds Conservatoire, she sharpened her sound — drawing inspiration from icons like Prince, Madonna, and Fleetwood Mac.

With LOVE YOU BETTER, Lois continues her ascent, offering a glimpse into a deeply personal yet universally resonant world.
