NADIA KADEK RETURNS WITH DREAMY SECOND SINGLE ‘LEMONADE’

British-Indonesian artist Nadia Kadek makes a striking comeback with her second single, Lemonade—an indie alt-pop track defined by lyrical precision, airy production, and melodies rich with understated emotion. At just 22, Kadek emerges as a quietly confident songwriter whose rising profile marks her as one to watch.

“Lemonade was born out of my hot-and-cold relationship with romance and intimacy. I felt weak relying on validation because it was the closest thing to love I could find—classic uni experience. Two years later, it’s less personal, but I see that longing everywhere. Recording it with huge drums and sparkly guitars let my inner child live out her teenage indie band dreams.”

Raised in the Norfolk countryside and calling herself a “festival baby,” Kadek’s earliest influences include Florence + The Machine and Jeff Buckley. From watching her heroes from festival shoulders to performing at Glastonbury 2024 after finishing runner-up in its Emerging Talent Competition, her journey is one of full-circle moments and quiet determination.

Now based in London, Kadek has built a loyal following through intimate, self-booked shows—leading her to the radar of Transgressive Records, home to some of today’s most boundary-pushing artists.
