TWO TONE: WEST LONDON’S NEW R&B DUO STEPS UP WITH DEBUT SINGLE ‘JORDANS’
West London’s rising R&B duo Two Tone make their official debut today with ‘Jordans’ – a bold breakup anthem with bite - “if you break my heart, I’ll break your Jordans”.
Comprising best friends Ruby and Dara, both 19, the pair met at the legendary BRIT School, alma mater to Amy Winehouse, Adele, and FKA Twigs. Their soulful harmonies, easy chemistry, and distinctly UK spin on contemporary R&B have already drawn comparisons to Brandy and FLO.
Despite their polished sound, Two Tone’s music remains raw and relatable – drawn from the real experiences of growing up young and ambitious in London: relationships, hustle, and heartbreak.
Rooted in West London’s vibrant creative scene, Ruby and Dara’s synergy sets them apart – more than two solo singers, they’re a true partnership, trading verses and melodies with the instinctive rhythm of storytellers who’ve grown up writing side by side.
