ELIZA MCLAMB DROPS TRACK “EVERY YEAR” AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM

Indie-rock singer-songwriter Eliza McLamb has released “Every Year,” the latest single from her forthcoming sophomore album Good Story, out October 24 via Royal Mountain Records. The track, she says, is “the thesis of the record,” setting the tone for a collection that blends guitar-driven arrangements with sharp, observational lyricism.

The album cover shows McLamb holding a makeshift silver trophy, cobbled together with her mother from salvaged scraps — a wry nod to the album’s self-deprecating edge. Across Good Story, McLamb examines her upbringing and the narratives we construct about ourselves.

“If you get really good at telling the story of who you are, you become the story you told. I began asking: What’s the point of it?”
