FLEUR ROUGE DIVES DEEP WITH NEW EP ‘WISH YOU THE WORST’
London-born and French-raised, FLEUR ROUGE is a bold new voice in future-pop, fusing dark, alternative beats with vivid, pop-driven melodies. With her second EP Wish You The Worst, she leans into raw, unapologetic songwriting—none more so than on its focus track, Rabbit Hole.
The final single from the EP, Rabbit Hole is among FLEUR’s most vulnerable releases yet. Drawing from her personal struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, the track captures the dizzying, all-consuming intensity of those experiences. Wrapped in electro-infused production, it’s a hypnotic journey into her sonic world.
“Rabbit Hole was inspired by a pretty chaotic chapter of my life,” FLEUR explains. “It’s about losing control, when your mind takes over and everything feels magnified—like falling down a rabbit hole.”
Opening with eerie vocoded vocals, the track quickly explodes into pulsing beats, spiralling piano motifs, and layered synths. Tantalising and immersive, it’s a disorienting but addictive listen—anchored by diaristic lyrics and FLEUR’s signature emotional edge.
The five-track Wish You The Worst EP explores themes like nepotism, social anxiety, and online dating with sharp candour. “We wanted to make something honest but still sassy,” she says. “It’s still got that fierce FLEUR ROUGE flavour, but this project shows a more vulnerable side.”
From the takedown of toxic friendships on Trust Fund Baby to the caustic breakup anthem Scumbag, the EP turns personal turmoil into cathartic, high-impact pop. With Rabbit Hole, FLEUR cements her place as one of the genre’s most compelling and fearless voices.
