GIRL TONES DROP FIERY NEW SINGLE “CHERRY PICKER”
Rock duo Girl Tones unleash their blistering new single “Cherry Picker” today via Parallel Vision x Big Loud Rock. The track explores being misled by “forbidden fruit” and struggling to see truth, its anthemic chorus warning: “I bit the hand that feeds me / It tastes like hypocrite / A wolf hides in sheep’s clothing / And feels like bitter death.”
Singer Kenzie calls it “the distortion of reality and the uncomfortability of death. It’s a reminder that anyone, including myself, is susceptible to distortion.”
Formed by sisters Kenzie and Laila, the high-energy, classically trained musicians swapped cello for guitar and piano for drums to electrify audiences from Earth to beyond. Produced by Brad Shultz of Cage The Elephant, their early releases dropped through his label Parallel Vision in partnership with Big Loud Rock.
Known for chaotic, unmissable live shows, Girl Tones have toured with Cage The Elephant, The Velveteers, hey, nothing., and Silversun Pickups, and made a splash at Lollapalooza this summer.
