LANEY LEBO SHARES BOLD NEW SINGLE “BITCH”

Nashville-based singer-songwriter Laney Lebo returns with her striking new single “Bitch,” a confident step forward that sharpens her voice as both writer and performer.

Blending razor-sharp lyricism with soulful melodies and driving instrumentation, the track finds Lebo at her most self-assured. “‘Bitch’ is written from the perspective of someone who refuses to apologize for who they are. It’s both a declaration and a celebration of stepping fully into yourself.”

Written during her time at Berklee College of Music and recorded at Lula Lake Sounds in Chattanooga, the song captures a moment of creative clarity. Tracking in the mountains alongside her band strengthened their collaborative dynamic, resulting in a sound that feels both uninhibited and deliberate.

Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Lebo grew up on a steady diet of classic rock, drawing early inspiration from improvisational icons like The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, and Steely Dan. Those influences shaped her musical instincts, which she began honing as a teenager through an afterschool programme where she first learned to perform with a band.
