LYVIA RETURNS WITH BOLD NEW MIXTAPE ‘HONEY, I’M HOME!’
Nottingham’s rising soul-pop provocateur LYVIA has dropped her long-awaited mixtape, Honey, I’m Home!, a fierce yet vulnerable showcase of storytelling that cements her as one of the UK’s most exciting voices. Blending pop, R&B, and soul with raw emotional honesty, LYVIA delivers a project that’s as daring as it is intimate.
The 11-track release compiles highlights from her Running Late and Be Right There… eras, alongside fresh cuts including the breezy new single Monday2Sunday. Other standouts include the playful Little White Lie, heartbreak anthem Loved U More, and the soul-baring ballad X.
“Honey, I’m Home is just my raw feelings — unfiltered. Some songs are so honest I thought, ‘this can never come out’. If you’ve dated me or hurt me, there’s probably a track about you. These are my secrets.”
On Monday2Sunday, she adds: “I wanted to celebrate women — their beauty, their power, their energy. It’s fun, cheeky, a bit chaotic — a love letter to women in all their forms.”
The mixtape’s title riffs on the outdated “breadwinner husband” trope, reimagining it through LYVIA’s empowered lens. Inspired by 1970s imagery of hyper-feminine women, she says, “I loved the look but wanted to twist it — to reclaim that femininity as strength. It’s me playing with the stereotypes people expect. That’s just not my path.”
