ALICE PHOEBE LOU RELEASES RADIANT NEW SINGLE ‘DARLING’ AHEAD OF SIXTH ALBUM
Alice Phoebe Lou has unveiled her luminous new single Darling, the first taste of her forthcoming album Oblivion, due out 24 October via Nettwerk Music Group.
With its golden tones and layered vocals, Darling captures the dreamy intoxication of early love. “It’s the most typical love song you’ll find on the album. Written with hearts in my eyes, full of optimism about life and the future … like floating between two storms, momentarily forgetting the hardships and focusing on how sweet and warm it can feel to be in love.”
Her sixth album, Oblivion, promises a deeply personal collection exploring both global and inner journeys. Across eleven tracks, Lou revisits her raw, early sound while venturing further into subconscious territory. “In this industry there’s pressure to go bigger,” she said. “But instead I returned to my roots of playing on the street. These songs come from dreams, from the oblivion of sleep — from the deepest thoughts and true feelings.”
