“One summer at my grandparents’ house, we found a stray piglet on the road. Babe was my favourite film, and I had begged for a piglet that year. My grandpa, known for his practical jokes, might have orchestrated it—or maybe it was fate. They never made a third Babe film, but we lived it.”

Built from a single resampled guitar take, “peaches” was inspired by a recording session canceled when a storm knocked out power in East Nashville. “The storm provided imagery to express feeling disconnected from close friends, and frustrated with external forces getting in the way of mending the relationship.”
